Readers' Picks for Businesses
Your customers pick the winners.
Readers' Picks is Maury County's reader-voted awards. There are no judges and no entry fee, and nobody can pay to win. Here's how a business gets on the ballot and what winners and finalists get.

How Your Business Gets on the Ballot
Ask for nominations
Nov. 9 - 22, 2026
Readers nominate their favorites on our site. Send your customers the link while nominations are open, and ask them to use the name on your sign so every nomination counts toward the same business.
Make the ballot
When nominations close, the most-nominated names in each category make the ballot. We merge different spellings of the same business before it goes up.
Get out the vote
Nov. 30 - Dec. 20, 2026
Readers pick one favorite per category, and a vote only counts after the voter confirms it by email. Votes that look like one person voting many times get checked and thrown out.
What Winners and Finalists Get
Every winner and finalist gets a private link to a badge kit with:
- The badge in three colors, as a PNG and an SVG
- A 5-inch window decal to print
- A ready-to-post line for social media
- Code to put the badge on your website
We announce the winners in the newsletter and on this site, and restaurants get the award on their Where to Eat page.
Questions
Does it cost anything to be nominated?
No. Readers nominate whoever they like, and there's no entry fee.
What if customers spell our name differently?
We merge spellings of the same business before the ballot goes up. Asking for the name on your sign still helps.
